Joining the Buccaneer family from the "Valley of the Sun" is Cadence Walding.

Walding hails from Surprise, Arizona, where she plays for the AZ Rogue Kaye travel organization and Centennial High School, coached by Randy Kaye.

She is a true utility player, having played everywhere on the field except for in the circle. As a junior, Walding hit .464 with 39 hits in just 29 games.

Walding shows her versatility at the plate as a left-handed hitter who can knock the ball in the gaps, with her speed causing problems for opposing defenses. She will be one to watch as a table setter to a potent offense.

Head Coach Christi Musser's thoughts on Cadence:
"I absolutely love the versatility that Cadence is going to provide to our lineup, both defensively and offensively. She is extremely scrappy hitting from the left side of the plate and will be hard to defend for opposing teams. I love her energy and the way she approaches the game. Cadence will bring a lot of experience with her playing against the best competition in the country as a member of the AZ Rogue Kaye travel ball team. She knows what it takes to win!"
