CHARLESTON, S.C. – Wednesday, Charleston Southern Volleyball announced their four newest additions to the program on National Signing Day.
Jenna Kitchens | 6'0" | Independence, KY | Simon Kenton High School
Awarded as the KVCA Region 8 Player of the Year, Kitchens brings size and athleticism to Coach Carry Brown's opposite hitter/right side position group. During her time at Simon Kenton High, Kitchens' accolades include: Kentucky's All-State First-Team member, 1,000 Career Kills, Most Career Kills in school history, District MVP Award, All-Region Tournament Team member, and was the 8th Region Player of the Year in school history. Kitchens hails from the northern portion of the Commonwealth State and is excited to get settled in Charleston next summer.

Brynn Minter | 6'0" | Seal Beach, CA | Los Alamitos High School
The California-native, Minter will be joining CSU at a time when the outside hitting rotation, outside of Emersyn Reiter, is all graduating. Attending Los Alamitos High, Minter led her high school program to a perfect 12-0 league record this season. Minter's high school accolades include: Sunset League MVP Award, 500 Kills in a single season, and two League Championships. Coach Carry Brown is excited to welcome Minter to Charleston next summer.

Ava Pitzer | 5'11" | Peterstown, WV | James Monroe High School
Pitzer hails from the state of West Virginia, and has led James Monroe High School to a successful 2025 Fall season. Pitzer's high school accolades include: AVCA All-Region honoree, AVCA All-American Watch List member, 1,000 Career Kills, 1,000 Career Digs, and three All-State Team recognitions. Credited by her future head coach, Carry Brown, for her undeniable positivity and leadership skills, Pitzer will arrive in Charleston next summer to begin her Buccaneer-career.

Adeline Wieler | 5'10" | Atlanta, GA | West Forsyth High School
The newest addition to Coach Carry Brown's defensive specialist position group, Wieler hails from the Atlanta-area and led the West Forsyth High School volleyball team to the state playoffs this fall. Her high school accolades include: a school-record 1,854 digs, three-time All-Region First-Team recognitions, AVCA All-Region honoree, AVCA All-American Watch List member, two-time GVCA All-State Team honors, GHSA Region 6-AAAAAAA Defensive Player of the Year Award, Forsyth County Player of the Year, and won the West Forsyth High School MVP Award. Wieler recorded 19 digs in her final high school match just a few weeks ago, and Coach Brown is excited to watch her game translate to Charleston next summer.Â
