CHARLESTON, S.C.– The Charleston Southern volleyball team will hit the road to High Point and Radford this weekend.

Charleston Southern took down Presbyterian last Friday night in a five-set thriller. Multiple Buccaneers tallied career highs in the victory with senior Brooke Monssen leading all players with 25 kills, just one shy of hitting the career 1,000 mark. She also notched 20 digs in the match, marking her seventh double-double this season. Libero Skylar Blackmon was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week  as she amassed 29 digs (5.8 per set) and six assists in the victory. 

HIGH POINT (19-10, 11-1 Big South)
High Point picked up a pair of three-set conference victories last weekend, sweeping Campbell on Friday night (Nov. 8) and Hampton on Saturday (Nov. 9). It was the second time this season the Panthers have had back-to-back sweeps and the first time winning two matches in a single weekend in the minimum six sets since Nov. 17-18 of last year in the Big South Championships.  The Panthers can clinch a share of the regular-season title this weekend with two wins, coupled with a Winthrop defeat. HPU has locked up the No. 2 seed in the upcoming conference tournament.

RADFORD (9-15, 5-7 Big South)
Radford split last weekend taking on Hampton and Campbell. The Highlanders took the Lady Pirates down to the wire, forcing a five set bout. Morgan Goodman's double-double of 11 kills and 12 digs just wasn't enough to propel Radford to victory. The Highlanders bounced back with a three set sweep over Campbell on Saturday evening. As a team, Radford set a season-high in total blocks with 17 and block assists at 30. Several Highlanders posted season highs in the match.
