CHARLESTON, S.C. – The fall tournament campaign for the Charleston Southern women's tennis program will wrap up this weekend, as the Bucs head to the College of Charleston Halloween Invitational, Friday-Sunday. Doubles and singles will be contested all three days at the CofC Tennis Center at Patriots Point.
FOURTH TOURNAMENT
The event signifies the fourth tournament for the Buccaneers, this fall, which was hosted by a school. The stretch began with back-to-back weekends last month, as CSU participated in the Coastal Carolina Invitational (Sept. 17-18) before playing host to the Charleston Southern Invitational (Sept. 24-25) at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center.
Just last weekend, the Buccaneers competed at the ITA Carolina Regionals (Oct. 21-23) against the best players from around the region.
OTHER ACTION
Charleston Southern also spent part of its fall season at ITF-sponsored events in Florence, the Florence Wild Card (Sept. 11-13), which led into the Florence 25K (Oct. 11-14). Those tournaments saw a select number of players on the courts.
TOURNAMENT FIELD
In addition to CSU and host CofC, other participating schools include Coastal Carolina, Marshall and Samford.
