CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern tennis head coach Anca Dumitrescu announced the 2023 schedule Tuesday morning.

Entering her fifth season at the helm of the Buccaneer tennis program, Dumitrescu led the team to its second straight Big South Championship in 2022. The Bucs finished with a 17-6 record as they swept through the conference tournament with two 4-0 wins.

The 2023 slate continues the trend of tough nonconference matches to go along with a grinding Big South schedule.

CSU opens the 2023 spring schedule in Durham, North Carolina with two Tar Heel state powers in Duke and Charlotte before returning home to host North Florida and Queens. The Bucs make the short trip to Coastal Carolina ahead of a lengthy 11 match homestand across the months of February and March that sees matchups with East Carolina from the American, UAB from C-USA, and Rhode Island from the A-10, as well as Gardner-Webb to open the 2023 Big South slate.

The Bucs then hit the road for two conference matches in Virginia, facing Radford and Longwood. CSU begins the month of April with its final home match against Campbell and closes the regular season with road matches against College of Charleston and UNC Asheville.

The Big South Conference tournament begins April 22 in Charlotte, N.C.
