CHARLOTTE - The Big South announced the winner of the Men's Outdoor Track and Field awards on Wednesday afternoon. The Bucs' Aden Price was selected as the Track Athlete of the Week while Laden Beckwith earned Freshman of the Week.

Price ran a 46.16 in the 400m at the Georgia Tech Invitational and claimed first in the event at the meet.  His time ranks third in CSU history and ninth in the Big South record book.

Beckwith ran a personal-best time of 20.90 at the meet in the 200m for fifth overall at the meet His time ranks as the sixth best in program history. In the 100m, he tied his career best with a time of 10.43 for second overall. It remains tied for tenth in school history.

Additionally, both of them ran on the 4x400m relay squad at the meet with them winning the event at the meet with a time of 3:08.68. Their time becoems the second-fastest in school history for the event and the fastest by a CSU team since 2008.

Charleston Southern will be back in action next weekend for their final one of the regular season. They will compete in the Charlotte Invitational which will be held from Friday, April 24 through Saturday, April 25 with the Big South Championships to be from Monday, May 11 through Wednesday, May 13.
