Biography


2019:

  • Saw action in 14 games as a pinch runner and made an appearance as a pinch hitter against Virginia Tech
  • Recorded three runs for the Bucs coming against MD. Eastern Shore, UNCW and PC


High School/Personal:
Waynesville, North Carolina native, Heather Carver signed with the Bucs by way of Tuscola High School where she lettered in varsity softball all four years. Carver was named All Conference for three years while being selected All State in 2017 and '18. She was deemed a USSSA Select 30 All American in 2017.

Outside of softball, Carver was the Vice President of the FCCCA and President of her school chapter. Additionally, she was the VP of the National Honor Society. Carver took her talents to the tennis court where she was named team captain and recorded a third place finish in doubles (2016) and took her team to the second round of regions in 2017.

Daughter of Sherri Ferguson, Heather will major in biology.
