Baylee Eaton joins the Buccaneers after a one-year stint at Central Arizona College where she tallied a 23-7 record with a 3.5 era in nearly 200 innings for the Vaqueras.Â
Eaton played two years at Marist High school where she led her team to a 5A state championship as a senior. She tallied second team all conference honors as a freshman at Sheldon high school before transferring. She finished first in the state of Oregon for 5A with an ERA of 1.76 and fourth in strikeouts with 75.Â
She would be named to the Oregon All-State team.
- Finished the season with a 4.90 ERA with a 3-8 record in 54.1 innings pitched
- Tied for the team lead with 18 appearances while recording seven starts in the 2021 season
- Posted one complete game
- Surrendered 64 hits, 46 runs (38 earned), while walking 17 and striking out 26 batters
- Opponents hit .279 against Eaton in the 2021 season
- Made her CSU debut with back-to-back appearances against Eastern Kentucky on February 21
- Went 7.0 innings allowing seven hits and five runs (four earned) against USC Upstate on March 13
- Went 7.0 innings allowing three hits and one run while striking out two against Winthrop on April 3
- Went at least 3.0 innings in nine different games in the 2021 season
