Biography

2014: Played in ten games at defensive back and on special teams...Recorded five tackles...Had two solo stops in the overtime win at Charlotte (9/27).

High School: Nwanegwo comes to Charleston Southern by way of Carolina Forest High School and Conway, S.C., where he lined up at defensive back for head coach Drew Hummel. He finished his career with 175 tackles and six career interceptions, and also lined up as the Carolina Forest primary kicker, converting 7-of-10 field goal attempts and 45-of-53 extra points. He was named to the 4A All-Region team in his senior season. In addition to football, was a four year letter winner on the Carolina Forest soccer team.
