CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  The 2025 Big South Softball Tournament seedings were released by the conference on Saturday afternoon, and for the fourth-straight season, the Buccaneers find themselves in postseason play as the No. 5 seed in Clinton, S.C. on the campus of Presbyterian College.
 
After finishing conference play with a 9-9 record, the Buccaneers will kick things off on Wednesday, May 7 against the No. 4 seeded Winthrop Eagles as part of a play-in game. First pitch will be at 5:00 PM. With a win, they will face the top-seeded Radford Highlanders on Thursday afternoon, and with a loss, they will face off in an elimination game against either No. 2 Longwood or No. 3 USC Upstate in the night cap.
 
The championship game will be played on Saturday, May 10 at 12:00 PM. It is a double-elimination tournament including the championships. Each game will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
Charleston Southern faced off against Winthrop back in March, taking two games out of three against the Eagles in Rock Hill. After losing the first game 8-0 in five innings, the Buccaneers rallied in the Saturday doubleheader with 6-5 and 9-0 wins.
