CHARLESTON - Aden Price was named as the Big South Men's Track Athlete and Freshman of the Week following the opening weekend of the outdoor track and field season on Thursday morning. 

Price won the 400m at the Charlotte 49er Classic with a time of 46.40 seconds -- the fifth-fastest in school history.  He was also runner-up in the 200m with a time of 20.86 for fourth in school history, and helped the Bucs' 4x400m relay team finish third with a time of 3:13.39 which ranks as eighth in program history.

The Bucs are back in action this weekend for the Raleigh Relays with the meet to begin on Thursday and last through Saturday.
