CHARLESTON, S.C. – With Charleston Southern softball's signing class being fully unveiled, CSUSports.com is taking an in-depth look at each of the seven signees of head coach Christi Musser's first signing class.
 
The Bucs will provide a further look at one signee each day, based on the order they were announced on CSU's social media channels. Next up is Maddie Lee.


 
If there was ever a spark plug to any lineup, it's Maddie Lee.
 
Lee will be joining CSU from Northside High School in Byron, Georgia. She is a middle infielder that also has the ability to catch and play outfield. 
 
In her senior season, Lee hit .450 with a 1.312 OPS, tallying 10 home runs throughout her high school career. She earned All-Region honors all four years and was a two-time Defensive Most Valuable Player. 
 
Lee has excelled equally in the classroom, placing in the top five percent in her class for three years running.  She is also a member of the Beta Club, Senior Council and plans to major in Kinesiology.


 
Head Coach Christi Musser's thoughts on Maddie:
"Every coach wants a player like Maddie in their lineup. She plays with such passion and excitement, you can see how much she loves the game. Maddie is going to offer a lot of athleticism in the middle infield and also provide some depth in our outfield. She will be a tough out at the plate hitting for both average and power. I can't wait to see her in a Buc uniform the next 4 years."
